Welcome to the Cameron Parish Library

About Us

With five (and one more on the way!) branches serving Cameron Parish, you’re sure to find a library near you!

On these web pages you will find information about the programs and services we offer, as well as links to the library’s multitude of online resources including downloadable electronic books and audio books and videos. The goal of this website is to help you, as the patron, use the library to the fullest, and receive the most from your library and community. We encourage you to “like” our Facebook page to get up to the minute information as well as some fun photos and ideas from our branches, staff and community.

Digitized Cameron Pilot Newspaper Project

1958- 2008 were digitized from microfilm and not as clear as the later PDF files from the Cameron Pilot. These digitized from microfilm download a whole year at a time.

Cameron Parish School Yearbooks

Take a peek into the past. Cameron Parish School yearbooks are now being uploaded for public viewing. The Cameron Parish Library is making an effort to help the parish retrieve, and preserve those precious memories in our digital library.

You may drop your old yearbooks at any library to be scanned and returned to you. Thank you to all who have brought your yearbooks to the library already. You may view the Cameron Parish School Yearbooks that are currently available in our digital library.

Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Cookbooks

Old Cameron Parish Fur and Wildlife Cookbooks have been digitized because so many residents lost theirs to hurricanes. We will not digitize recent books but there are hard copies for you to look at in each library branch.

Cameron Parish Veterans Wall

Cameron Parish Veterans Wall names have been digitized.
